Am I the right coach for you?
The relationship between the client and coach is the most important factor that determines whether your coaching outcome will be successful. It is essential that you feel comfortable and at ease with your coach. At your initial appointment I will ask you a series of straight forward questions that will give me a picture of where you are in your life and what you want to achieve from your coaching sessions. This is also a good chance to get to know me and ask me any questions you may have. At the end of the initial session; if we both agree that we want to proceed, we can arrange a regular weekly time for us to meet.
Which issues do I work with?
People sometimes arrive at a point in their lives when they feel unhappy, frustrated, stuck or fed up and have reached the stage where they want to take action and make a change. If you feel there must be more to life than you are currently experiencing, whether this is in your personal or work life, then coaching with me could be of benefit to you. This might be with issues you have relating to low self-esteem, relationships, intimacy within relationships, lifestyle challenges such as weight loss, nail biting or maybe habits that infuriate you and the people around you! It could be beliefs you hold that are stopping you get that important promotion or getting on with your boss or work colleagues. In fact anything that you see as a barrier to you achieving what you want, I am here to support and assist you with getting to where you want to be.

How long does it take?
This may depend on the issues you want to work on, plus a variety of other factors. Such as, how long have these issues been going on, your personality, your willingness to accept new ideas and how comfortable you are incorporating change into your life. Sometimes what is holding you back is buried deep and can take some time to surface; this coupled with how prepared you are to share things that you may have kept secret and are ashamed of can also be a factor. The best approach is to commit to the process and fully engage without any preconceived ideas about how long it will take. Adopting this approach can also be helpful, by taking the pressure off achieving results to a timetable.
Will you use Hypnosis? What is Hypnotherapy?
Yes; if I believe that hypnosis will be useful in moving you forward. Hypnotherapy can be a very productive means of providing therapeutic benefits. It is a long – established and medically approved therapy, with proven research to back its results. Hypnosis allows you to switch off all the normal distractions in your mind. In this state you are able to focus all your attention on the positive suggestions for change being made to you. During hypnosis you will be fully aware of everything that happens, hear everything that is said to you and will be completely in charge of your actions. Despite what you see on the television; it is not possible to be made to do something you would not ordinarily be willing to do.

Payment for face to face sessions and for sessions via Skype / Zoom are due in advance; please note I require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or the full fee will be payable. If there is a problem being tied to a regular weekly time slot; don’t worry. I have a range of flexible options to accommodate your hectic schedule.
